SARPI RDC SOLAR 5MfD
In March 2024, TRC Advanced Technologie entered into a strategic international contract with SARPI Spa (Société Algérienne de Réalisation de Projets Industriels), within the framework of a project for SONATRACH. The purpose of this partnership was the supply and implementation of a solar power generation system for the DRC site in Hassi Messaoud (Rhourde Chegga).
The project scope covers the design, supply, and delivery of tubular materials and solar power generation systems, along with all required services for their proper installation and commissioning at the Rhourde Chegga – Hassi Messaoud site.
The SARPI – Hassi Messaoud Solar Power Project is a landmark initiative combining renewable energy integration with industrial infrastructure development in Algeria’s oil and gas sector. Its significance is threefold:
For SONATRACH: It supports the company’s strategy to integrate renewable energy into its operations, reducing reliance on conventional power sources.
For SARPI: It demonstrates its capacity, together with TRC Advanced Technologie, to deliver turnkey industrial and energy projects.
For TRC Advanced Technologie: It reinforces its role as a trusted international partner capable of supplying high-quality equipment, advanced technologies, and sustainable solutions for Algeria’s most strategic industrial sites.
ARH (Hydrocarbon Regulatory Authority) is the independent governmental body responsible for regulating, controlling, and certifying hydrocarbon-related activities in Algeria. All equipment and materials (PV arrays, charging cabinets, distribution , battery banks, protection and control devices) were submitted to the ARH for conformity review and were approved prior to commissioning. Factory and site tests (FAT/SAT) were witnessed in line with ARH-approved procedures. Commissioning and energization were performed under ARH oversight, with certificates of conformity issued before handover.
